As one of the main sponsors of this event,\u00a0 Liberty GMC Buick is also hosting a luncheon for seniors in the community. All seniors in the community are invited to attend this free luncheon which will be held on Festival grounds from 11:30 \u2013 until 1:00 pm. The 30th Anniversary will be held at 1:00 following the luncheon.<\/p>\n<p>With the theme \u201cArts on the Corner,\u201d the event will take place at the Weddington Town Hall and the Weddington Corners Shopping Center located at 1924 Weddington Road in downtown Weddington.<\/p>\n<p>The festival will bring old fashioned family fun for all ages once again to the heart of the community. The day will feature local Weddington artists and artists from the Waxhaw Art Council and Union County Arts Council. Artists will display paintings, pottery, jewelry, hand-painted clothing and sculpture for sale in our \u201cArt at the Corners\u201d art gallery.<\/p>\n<p>The festival will also feature a \u201cKids Corner\u201d where children can explore their creative side at the arts and crafts area. If adventure and exercise are what you are seeking, bouncy giant inflatable slides and a Moon Bounce will be set-up. Or take your shot at the Hi Striker &amp; Kiddie Striker or ride the Trackless train or Kiddie Ferris Wheel. There will be many activities to keep a family well entertained from face painting, to hula hoop or limbo contests for various age groups.
